Although I have never envisioned running for a political office, I felt compelled to do so by the changes taking place in our City in the Country. I endeavor to partner with the City Council to better serve the interests of my neighbors in District 4.
I am a UCSD graduate, a teacher, a robotics coach, a wife, and mother to three children. We moved to Poway over 12 years ago to raise our children in this safe and beautiful community.
As an avid backpacker and hiker, I believe in the value of wild open spaces. Poway is not only my home, it is also home to myriad wildlife, native plants, and historic sites. We must find a healthy balance between construction and conservation.
My parents immigrated from Taiwan to escape the ever-looming threat of communist China. So, I know all too well the importance, and value, of integrity and transparency in a Constitutional Republic.
As a council member, it will be my job to serve and accurately represent our friends and neighbors in District 4. I will listen to your concerns and do everything in my power to make sure your voices are heard.
